Delivers items by preparing, loading, unloading, operating, and cleaning a van/truck; maintaining records.

Duties:
* Loads van/truck by ordering, placing, and securing items.
* Delivers items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the van; unloading items; maintaining schedule.
* updating mileage logs.
* Maintains van operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; scheduling repairs.
* Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organisation operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans van exterior and interior.
* Maintains delivery, van, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgements; recording tracking information; completing driver log and van performance forms.
* IT literate, can use barcode scanners and other IT related equipment.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to build a market position for One World Express by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. The Business Development position will be responsible for enthusiastically communicating these new offerings to prospective, existing and potential customers through various methods, for example marketing and events co-ordination and conference building.  Additionally, customer care is very important to One World Express. The individual in this position will be responsible for providing exemplary customer care including, ongoing client relationship management, monitoring, training and guidance.

Duties:

* Identifying trendsetting activities and opportunities in the marketplace through researching industry and related events, publications and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.

HGV Driver – BHM

Job Description:

Collecting and Delivering items from Airport and clients. loading, unloading, operating, and cleaning a van/truck; maintaining records.
Skills:
Written and Verbal Communication, Deadline-Oriented, Lifting, Dependability, Tacho, C2 for 18 ton+ truck with Current CPC Certification essential.

Duties:

* Prepares van/truck for operation by inspecting general condition; checking oil, tyre pressure and general condition of vehicle. Reporting any Damage or required repairs to Transport Manager; validating adherence to VOSA CPC standards.

* Loads van/truck and securing items.

* Deliver items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the van; unloading items; maintaining schedule.

* updating mileage logs.
